ACTIVITY REPORT ON TRAINING PROGRAMME ON DISASTER RESPONSE „AAPDA MITRA‟ ORGANIZED BY DISTRICT DISASTER MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY, DIBRUGARH AT DIBRU COLLEGE, DIBRUGARH , VENUE AT DIBRU COLLEGE, DIBRUGARH FROM 19TH – 30TH DECEMBER, 2022

  • 23 NSS Volunteers of MDKG College participated in the Training programme on disaster response „AAPDA MITRA‟ organized by District Disaster management Authority, Dibrugarh at Dibru College, Dibrugarh , venue at Dibru College, Dibrugarh.

ACTIVITY REPORT ON OBSERVANCE OF „AXOM DIVAS‟ ON 2ND DECEMBER, 2022

  • Observed “Axom Divas” by NSS unit and History Department, MDKG College on 2nd December, 2022
  • The activities undertaken were: Awareness Programme for prevention of abusive substances among the community people near Running gate, Naliapool and Thana Charalia, Dibrugarh.
  • A talk programme on Sukapha, Agricultural Awareness Programme, Drawing competition and Essay Competition at adopted village, Nagakhelia Gaon, Dibrugarh was conducted.

ACTIVITY REPORT ON THE CONSTITUTION DAY ON 26TH NOVEMBER, 2022

  • On 26th November, 2022, NSS unit of MDKG College has observed the Constitution Day at the College A pledge taking ceremony was conducted among the NSS Volunteers and NCC Cadets of the College.

ACTIVITY REPORT ON CLEAN INDIA CAMPAIGN ON 4TH OCTOBER, 2022

Program of Clean India on 4th October, 2022 was observed by the NSS unit. The following were some of the activities done.

ACTIVITY REPORT ON THE FOUNDATION DAY OF NSS ON 24TH SEPTEMBER, 2022

  • On 24th September, 2022, NSS unit of MDKG College has observed the foundation day of
  • The programme was followed by College campus cleaning and College gardening, as well as Road safety awareness drive, Traffic awareness in the road was also conducted.

ACTIVITY REPORT ON INDUCTION CUM ORIENTATION CLASS, 2022-2023

  • NSS unit of MDKG college organised an Induction cum orientation class to the newly enrolled volunteers of NSS unit 2022 on 13th September, 2022
  • The orientation focused on the importance of NSS, its main objectives and the regular activities that have to be performed by an NSS volunteer during their term of volunteership.

ACTIVITY REPORT ON HAR GHAR TIRANGA ON 12TH AUGUST, 2022

On the occasion of Har Ghar Tiranga on 12th August, 2022, NSS unit of MDKG College distributed Indian Flag in the adopted village (Nagakhelia gaon).

ACTIVITY REPORT ON „Chief Minister‟s Institutional Plantation Program‟ as a part of „Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav‟ a Plantation drive was carried out at Dibrugarh University on 3rd August, 2022

  • A Plantation Programme under the Scheme of Chief Minister‟s Institutional Plantation Programme (CMIPP) in celebration of „Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav‟ commencing from 15/07/2022 to 15/08/2022 was organised by MDKG College, Dibrugarh Assam on 3rd August, The Plantation site was undertaken at Dibrugarh University (Administrative Building Premises). The programme was graced by Dr. Jiten Hazarika (Vice Chancellor Dibrugarh University), Dr. Paramananda Sonowal (Deputy Administrative Registrar, D.U), Dr. Prasanta Kumar Kakoty (Controller of Examination, D.U) and officials of Dibrugarh University.
  • Further the Programme was initiated by Nibedita Phukan, (Principal, MDKG College), Dr. Anju Borah (Vice- Principal, MDKG College), Dr. Utpal Sut (IQAC Coordinator, MDKG College), Mr. Utpal Gogoi (NSS Coordinator, MDKG, College), Dr. Mitali Sonowal (Eco Club Coordinator, MDKG College), Ms. Sangita Gogoi (Member of Eco Club, MDKG College), Mr. Raj Jyoti Gogoi (Asst. Prof. Deptt. of Chemistry, MDKG College), The Office Staff, NSS Volunteers, and Students of MDKG College.
  • Moreover, 5 saplings (Fox Tail Palm plant) were planted by all the members present at the programme to mark the valuable initiative under the scheme of CMIPP in celebration of „Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, 2022‟.

ACTIVITY REPORT ON „WORLD DAY AGAINST CHILD LABOUR‟ ON 12TH JUNE, 2022

„World Day against Child Labour‟ was organised by NSS unit of MDKG College & NSS Unit of DHSK Commerce College jointly with an awareness rally, Poster & Play card competition between both the colleges on 12th June, 2022.

ACTIVITY REPORT ON BLOOD DONATION CAMP ON 6TH JUNE, 2022

  • On 6th June, 2022, awareness programme and Blood Donation camp was orgainsed by the NSS Unit of MDKG College, Dibrugarh in collaboration with AMCH Blood bank

ACTIVITY REPORT ON PARTICIPATION IN THE INTERACTION PROGRAM WITH THE FIRST LADY IPS OFFICER OF INDIA AND FORMER GOVERNOR OF PUDUCHEERY Smti. KIRAN BEDI ON 4TH JUNE, 2022 ORGANIZED BY DIBRUGARH UNIVERSITY

·        On 4th June, 2023, NSS volunteers participated the special program, and interaction program organized by Dibrugarh University with Smti. Kiran Bedi, the First lady IPS Officer of India and former Governor of Puducherry.

ACTIVITY REPORT ON NSS SPECIAL CAMPING BY NSS UNIT AT NAGAKHELIA VILLAGE FROM 2ND TO 8TH JUNE, 2022

  • From 2nd to 8th June, 2022, NSS Special Camp was organized by the NSS Unit of MDKG College, Dibrugarh at the adopted village (Nagakhelia Gaon, Dibrugarh). The occasion was also graced by Principal Madam, Nibedita Phukan and Honourable DC of Dibrugarh District, Shri. Biswajit Pegu.
  • Activities carried out in the special camp are:
    1. Cleanliness drive
    2. Free health check up to the villagers by District Health Department, Dibrugarh
    3. Art competition among the villagers and NSS volunteers
    4. Yoga program
    5. Activity on nutrition conducted by Home Science Department, MDKG College
    6. Door to door visit of the villagers
    7. Cultural program observed on the last day of the camp
