Message from the HOD
Greetings from the Department of Hindi.
It is my privilege to lead a Department which has, for more than five decades, played a very significant role in helping generations of young women in the North-eastern state of the country to achieve a level of practical communication in the National and Official language-Hindi, which is ideal for everyday life . Since its inception, the Department is privileged to have an extremely dynamic faculty whose expertise in critical theory has been widely acknowledged and whose creative writing has been published extensively. We are a department that takes our teaching and research missions seriously, and we strongly believe that good teaching and research go hand in hand. We strive to enhance the ability of our students to communicate in Hindi and also to apply Hindi to work or further studies.
Regards,
Dr. Adity Saikia
