ACTIVITY REPORT ON OBSERVATION OF RASTRIYA EKTA DIVAS (NATIONAL UNITY DAY) ON 31ST OCTOBER, 2019

Rastriya Ekta Divas was observed on 31st Oct, 2019 at MDKG College. On the day invited Speaker, Dr. Anita Sharma, Assistant Prof. of Dept. of Political Science, MDKG College delivered a speech on the topic: „Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel‟s contribution in Nation building and National Unity.

ACTIVITY REPORT ON SPOT ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION ON „ROLE OF ASSAM‟S FREEDOM FIGHTERS IN INDIA‟S FREEDOM STRUGGLE‟ ON 13TH AUGUST, 2019

As directed by the Govt. of Assam, Spot Essay Writing Competition on „Role of Assam‟s Freedom Fighters in India‟s Freedom Struggle‟ was organized on 13th August, 2019 among the students of the College. The competition was organized to know the contribution of the Freedom fighter‟s held from Assam and their role in India‟s freedom struggle.

ACTIVITY REPORT ON INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA ON 21ST JUNE, 2019

NSS unit and NCC of the college jointly celebrated 5th International Yoga Day at college premise along with active participation of teaching staff and
student volunteers. Dr. G.D. Goswami, Principal (i/c) of the college graced the occasion and Prof. S.L. Yadav of Dibru College delivered a talk on the
“Importance of Yoga among Youth” to celebrate the occasion of 5th International Day of Yoga. Lt. Dr. Phirmi Bodo (NCC Officer) and Ashwini
Machey (NSS, Programme Officer) were also present in the day long programme.

ACTIVITY REPORT ON OBSERVATION OF RABHA DIVAS ON 20TH JUNE, 2019

Observation of Rabha Divas on 20th June, 2019 was organized by the NSS Unit and Students Union of MDKG College, Dibrugarh to create awareness and understanding of the Eminent Personalities of Assam and their contribution towards the society. Rabha Sangeet Competition was organized among the students, and the winners were awarded.

ACTIVITY REPORT ON OBSERVATION OF WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY ON 5TH JUNE, 2019

Observation of World Environment Day 5th June, 2019 was organized by NSS Unit in association with Skill Ghar, Dibrugarh. Activities carried out were cleanliness drive and beautification of the College and also Quiz and Extempore speech competition among the students of the college was organized on the day.

ACTIVITY REPORT ON 30TH NATIONAL ROAD SAFETY WEEK FROM 4TH FEBRUARY TO 10TH FEBRUARY, 2019

  • From 4th Feb to 10th Feb, 2019, NSS unit of the College organized and observed the 30th National Road Safety week undertaking different activities related to awareness on road safety week.
  • Traffic Officials of Dibrugarh also assisted the programme with great zeal to aware the students as well the public of the town.
  • The importance of wearing helmet, following traffic rules and regulations etc were also demonstrated by the officials.
